The Challenge
Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures rely on visibility and consistency. Above all, shared understanding. In this case, the customer wanted a clear, central point for managing isolation activity. Therefore supporting safe routines across maintenance and operational teams.
The goal was to create a visual system that brought equipment, status and supporting information together in one place.
The Solution: A Purpose-Built LOTO Board
A dedicated LOTO board was designed to support daily isolation routines and improve visibility around lockout activity.
So the board included:

Lockout padlocks
Providing sufficient capacity for multiple concurrent isolation tasks. -
Lockout hasps
Allowing multiple individuals to apply personal locks where shared isolation is required. -
“Do Not Operate” tagout tags
Clearly communicating isolation status at the point of use. -
Supporting documentation holders, including:
