See how you can make your own SQDP boards, like the one in this case study

About this project:

Client: Transformers & Rectifiers

Industry: Engineering

Brief: To custom make eight SQDP boards. Each one to include dry wipe and magnetic areas for status indicators.

Client feedback: “The boards look great, we are really pleased with them. Thanks for all help in getting these designed and made, we really appreciate it.”

Why SQDP Boards (like this example) work so well

The SQDC boards in this case study are visual and functional. In other words, they provide most relevant information, at a glance. Furthermore, in a highly visible way. In addition, they are quick and easy to update. Firstly, using dry wipe pen. Secondly, using the striking status indicator meters. As a result, status is not just shown as Red, Amber, Green but in greater detail. Likewise, with numerical reference points too.

In addition, these boards deliver an extremely effective way of logging and assessing daily progress. For example, with daily dry wipe fields for each process i.e. S, Q, D and P. Finally, each process has a corresponding Action Plan.

More on SQDP Boards

SQDP is a daily management process. It continuously tracks Safety, Quality, Delivery and Production.

Make your own board to visually assess how well these processes are operating. Above all, this is an essential visual management tool because it provides an instant visual assessment. Furthermore, it supports progress.

Custom SQDP Boards

We support you to make the perfect board for your workplace. Likewise, choose exactly you want to assess. Firstly, for example, SQDP (like those in this case study). On the other hand, perhaps you want to assess Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Therefore, make an SQDC Board.

Furthermore, add extra processes if you need. For instance, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP). In addition, for example, swap “People” for “Productivity”. Secondly, as a further idea, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Engagement (SQDCE).

Most importantly, your board represents the processes you need.

Add options and accessories

The SQDP Board in this case study works because it is highly visual, at a glance. Furthermore, it offers plenty of functionality. For example, dry wipe and status indicators. See our full range of board accessories and status indicators for inspiration.

Our Approach

We create visual management boards everyday. As a result we have plenty of experience. We work for organisations in food production, the power industry, national rail, pharmaceuticals, education, healthcare, packaging and distribution.

Our team works with a simple idea or sketch and creates a professionally designed layout. This is then turned into a highly functional visual management board.

We offer customised options because we want to create the perfect board for you. So, here are a few examples. We can add magnetic areas or a dry-wipe finish (for use with whiteboard pens). Furthermore, you can choose Red/Green sliders or R.A.G. (Red, Amber, Green) status dials so you can quickly and visually update your board. These are just a few examples of the ways in which our boards can be tailored to meet your needs. You may also be interested in whiteboard overlays that can be used on top of an existing magnetic board.
