Define targets for Continuous Improvement
Setting targets is only the most basic function of your board because it should offer so much more. Importantly, make passive targets active by connecting them to achievable and specific actions. Make these action points each day (or as often as you want). Update them quickly and easily with dry wipe pen. Use your own magnetic stickers (that we will custom design for you), to make action points highly visible.
Assign responsibility
Introduce accountability to your visual management board. So, for example, assign specific action points to specific teams, or people. Use colour coded or numbered stickers to make this process quick and easy. (We make and supply whatever magnetic stickers you need.) Once a given action is complete, the team in charge takes ownership of this achievement by signing and dating it. (We make your board dry wipe so you can use a dry wipe pen to sign and date the action point.)
Achieve specific actions
Each time a specific action is achieved, mark this clearly on your board. Perhaps, for example, move a red/green slider (one of many board accessories we offer), from red to green. This works because it is highly visible and well recognised. It instantly shows that the specific action is done (or not done).
Track results to attain Continuous Improvement
Show targets and actions for each day of the week. Monitor and assess these targets throughout the week. Likewise, celebrate successes and identify points for improvement. Importantly, use this information to propel the Continuous Improvement process. As a result, identified areas for improvement create new targets. Furthermore, these then connect to specific actions. Subsequently, the whole aforementioned process begins again and progress is made… As such, your board puts Continuous Improvement into action.
